Christ’s Place Leadership College
About CPLC
Christ’s Place Leadership College is a 9-month program for students who sense a call to full-time ministry, or who want to refine their leadership skills in a structured, healthy environment with seasoned leaders in the local church. Christ’s Place Leadership College exposes students to passionate leadership and ministry opportunities that will refine their character and clarify God’s calling on their life.
Our Mission
The mission of Christ’s Place Leadership College is to raise up future leaders through education, inspiration and application of leadership skills in the local church.
EDUCATION
Students may complete 6 credit hours per semester at the local college of their choice.
INSPIRATION
Mentor relationships with pastors and leaders who model ministry excellence and challenge students to live devoted lives to Christ. Students will encounter God by developing spiritual disciplines and Godly relationships.
APPLICATION
Hands on experience and training in your chosen church ministry track: Children, Students, Worship & Creative Arts, and Media. CPLC students are able to choose a specific leadership track in their area of ministry interest and will receive exciting ministry experience and develop their leadership abilities by participating on and leading teams.
MINISTRY TRACKS
The Children’s Ministry track helps students understand how to reach children with the love of Christ. Students participating in this track will work along side Pastor Jeff Haase and his creative leadership team, and contribute to a dynamic program that reaches and disciples children from infancy through 5th grade.
The Student Ministry track gives students a greater understanding of empowering young people with the Gospel. Students participating in this track will work along side Pastor Bruce Riddle and his team of passionate leaders who are driven to reach and disciple middle and high school students.
The Worship, Creative Arts and Media track gives students hands on opportunities to use their creative gifts to tell the Gospel story and connect people to God. Students participating in this track will work along side Pastor Michael King and his creative team who are committed to creating a culture of improvement in areas of competency, character and chemistry.
The Media track gives students an opportunity to increase their understanding of influence through graphic art and media and how it is used to help communicate in a modern church. Students participating in this track will experience the impact that visual presentation has in a church setting as they are trained in utilizing state-of-the-art media tools.
